Ariana trained at Edinburgh College, as well as courses with LA stylist Miss Rockabilly Ruby (Hair Stylist at Pin Up Girl Clothing), acclaimed LA stylist (and Dita Von Teese's hairdresser) Tony Medina of His Vintage Touch and Bethany Jane Davies of The Vintage Beauty Parlour in Manchester. She worked doing hair at vintage events under the name Vanity Thrills before joining the team at Scotland's first vintage hair and beauty parlour Miss Dixiebelle at its launch in 2010. She remained there until its close in 2015, and she then created her own company. Ariana has experience in TV, film and theatre, and was asked to run the hair department for The Salon Project, an interactive experience created by Untitled Projects, during its initial run at Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre in 2011 and its stint in Glasgow' s Citizen's Theatre and London's Barbican in 2013. Also that year, Ariana was asked to run the hair salon at Wayne Hemingway's Vintage Festival in Glasgow, which she has done every year it's run since.
As well as having her work featured on the BBC, STV and many publications, including the cover of Vintage Life magazine, in 2014 Ariana won the the Vintage Beauty and Grooming Award at the National Vintage Awards in Birmingham. Her favourite period styles to do are late 1950s/early 1960s updos - big hair!

Professional hair and makeup artist that works keenly within television and film.
Kat studied for two years at Edinburgh college doing makeup artistry before graduating and working on American TV series Outlander where she has worked for both seasons. She has also worked on a large mix of television adverts and BBC productions as well as working within Scottish theatre.
Kat has a large set of skills under her belt; as well as being skillful at beauty and vintage makeup, she is also an avid body painter.

Samantha is a qualified beauty therapist with a speciality in skin, and holds an HND pass with merit in makeup artistry.
She has worked with Benefit, Shu Umera, Bobbi Brown, No 7 and Dior and is internationally published. Samantha also has considerable experience in film, having done work with BAFTA winning projects amongst others.

Hair Stylist (Glasgow)
Stephie has been working as a vintage hair stylist for three years, having attteded a speciality bridal course and being mostly self-taught in the art of period hair. Her passion is for the 1940s and is our regular gal at World War events, sporting her wartime sweetheart look. She says: "My favourite part of the job is when the client looks in the morror and sees themselves for the first time after they've been made over and you can just see the confidence oozing from them".

Emma-Leigh emerged from a background in fine arts and fashion to study advanced makeup artistry and special effects at college, and has gone on to work on film, TV and theatre projects internationally as well as being a personal skin-care consultant with Clinique. Her love of vintage is evident at all time - Emma-Leigh channels old-school glamour every day, even on those early film-set starts!
